Feminism is an important movement in America. Women should be treated fairly and equally in all aspects of life. Unfortunately, however, in the process of uplifting women, the male ego has been demonized and treated like a problem rather than simply the powering source for our drive, determination and achievement, that which makes us do what we do.

As a result, whether the topic is marriage or murder, failure to accept and understand the basic nature and ego needs of men (and the future men we call boys) is destroying our nation.

Men need to feel respected and will exhaust their tool chests to fulfill that need.

• Being needed/useful can be a tool chest

• Fatherhood can be a tool chest.

• Career or Business can be a tool chest.

• Degrees can be a tool chest.

• Nice home can be a tool chest.

• Athletic prowess can be a tool chest.

• A hot car can be a tool chest.

• Clothing can be a tool chest.

• An affair can be a tool chest (when you don't feel respected at home).

• Violence can be a tool chest when you do not know the difference between respect and fear. (Respect being deference for what you can do for people and fear being deference for what you can do to people.) 

Before a man will invest in a tool chest he has to believe it works, and that faith and confidence in a path to respect only comes from experiencing the example of credible elder men.
